누군가 자리를 비운 곳에는 흔적이 남기 마련이다. 호텔 객실을 청소하는 가비는 손님의 방에서 값나가는 물건 하나를 발견한다. 머물다 떠나는 이와 그 자리에 남아 노동하는 이의 삶이 교차하는 장소에서 가비는 우연히 타인의 가장 사적인 순간을 목격한다. 영화는 인물의 선택을 성급히 단죄하거나 미화하지 않은 채, 자신의 몫을 좇던 마음이 타인의 고독 앞에서 흔들리고 다시 자신에게로 돌아가는 과정을 지켜본다. 타인의 외로움을 알아보는 순간, 가비의 고요한 내면에도 작은 동요가 번진다. 카메라가 개인의 내밀한 욕망에서 출발해 낯선 타인의 외로움에 가닿는 한 사람의 미세한 변화를 좇는 동안, 인물 안에 잠겨 있던 감정도 서서히 모습을 드러낸다. 그렇게 프레임에는 쉽게 지워지지 않을 또 하나의 흔적이 남는다.

Where someone has been, traces are bound to remain. While cleaning a hotel room, Gabi comes across an object of considerable value left behind by a guest. In a place where the lives of those who briefly pass through and those who remain to labor quietly intersect, she unexpectedly witnesses one of a stranger's most intimate moments. Without rushing to condemn or romanticize her choices, the film patiently observes the way a heart intent on pursuing its own share of life falters before another person's solitude, only to return to itself transformed. The moment Gabi recognizes another's loneliness, a quiet disturbance ripples through her own inner world. As the camera follows the subtle shift of a woman whose gaze moves from her private desires toward the unfamiliar solitude of someone else, emotions long submerged within her gradually come into view. In the end, the frame is left with another trace—one that refuses to fade easily.
