시놉시스 Synopsis
도시 생활에 익숙한 청년 '디에고'는 시골 마을의 도서관 관리를 맡게 되면서 원치 않는 귀촌 생활을 시작합니다. 처음에는 낯선 시골 환경에 적응하기를 꺼려하던 그는, 도서관에서 일하며 점차 마을의 풍습과 사람들을 알아가게 됩니다. 그리고 주민들의 소소한 가십거리부터 깊숙이 감춰져 있던 비밀에 이르기까지 마을의 다채로운 이야기들을 하나둘 발견해 나갑니다.
Diego is a young man accustomed to city life who is forced to move to the countryside to manage a rural library. Initially reluctant to embrace country life, he begins to discover the customs, people and stories of the village through his work, including the deepest secrets and the topics of local conversation.

낯선 소도시의 작은 도서관에 임시직으로 도착한 주인공. 초반 그는 그곳의 무질서한 리듬에 쉽게 적응하지 못한다. 오래된 책을 사랑하고 낡은 물건들 속에서 예상치 못한 발견을 즐기던 그였지만, 막상 자신이 시간이 멈춘 듯한 마을 한가운데 놓이자 주변의 모든 것이 마냥 성에 차지 않는 탓이다. 그러나 산더미처럼 쌓인 책들을 하나씩 정리하던 그는 책의 여백에 남겨진 문장들, 책 구절을 고백 삼아 주고받은 은밀한 대화와 두 개의 이름을 발견한다. 그때부터 주인공은 마치 탐정이 된 듯 이 책에서 저 책으로 건너가며 두 사람의 밀담을 추적한다. 도서관의 엄숙함을 지키려 사람들을 다그치던 주인공은 어느새 마을 사람들의 이야기를 듣고 기억을 함께 나누는 시간 속에서 조금씩 공동체의 일원이 되어간다.

The protagonist arrives at a small library in an unfamiliar town for a temporary position. Initially, he struggles to adapt to the disorderly rhythm of the place. Though he is someone who loves old books and relishes unexpected discoveries among vintage objects, being dropped into the center of a town where time seems to stand still leaves him feeling deeply unsatisfied with his surroundings. However, as he meticulously organizes the mountains of books, he discovers sentences left in the margins—a secret dialogue exchanging book passages as heartfelt confessions, accompanied by two names. From that moment on, stepping into the role of a detective, the protagonist leaps from book to book, tracing the intimate, hidden conversations between the two individuals. Once a strict enforcer who scolded people to maintain the library's solemnity, the protagonist slowly weaves himself into the fabric of the community through the time spent listening to the villagers' stories and sharing in their collective memories.
