Zoya, an Indian woman, travels to Busan in search of a Korean man named Park Sang-hoon. Sang-hoon was a film director preparing to make his first feature after making short films, and Zoya had acted in his films and co-written screenplays with him. Tracing Sang-hoon’s footsteps, she visits the place believed to have been his home, places where his films might remain, and people who may have known him. Along the way, she meets another woman who knew Sang-hoon and shares her memories of him. The film develops a distinctive rhythm through Zoya’s unfamiliar footsteps moving through familiar places in Busan, and her cautious, measured words and gestures. Her journey feels like a slow adjustment to the pace of parting from another person. In light of the information in the end credits, it is also an act of coming to terms with a farewell that took place in real life.
