오랜 시간 모습을 감췄던 한 배우가 인터뷰를 허락한다. 카메라 앞에 앉은 그녀는 과거의 영화와 사랑, 성공과 실패를 이야기하지만, 시간이 흐를수록 인터뷰는 단순한 회고라기보다 불안정한 공연처럼 보이기 시작한다. 그녀는 여전히 카메라를 의식하고, 스스로를 연기하며, 사라져가는 스타의 이미지를 붙들려 한다. 그 모습은 오히려 스크린 앞에 선 인간의 외로움과 불안이 천천히 스며 나온다. 한때 사랑받았던 배우는 여전히 스크린 위에 머물고 싶어하고, 현실과 연기 사이를 오가는 그녀의 몸짓은 때로는 우아하고, 때로는 위태롭다. <인터뷰>는 한 사람이 자신의 이미지를 끝까지 놓지 않으려는 시간을 따라가지만, 촬영이 계속될수록 설명하기 어려운 불편함이 조금씩 쌓여간다. 그리고 마지막에 남는 것은 한 배우의 이야기가 아니라, 타인의 얼굴을 바라보는 우리의 복잡한 마음이다.

An actress, long hidden from the public eye, finally grants an interview. Sitting before the camera, she speaks of her past films and romances, her successes and failures. However, as time passes, the interview begins to resemble an unstable performance rather than a simple retrospective. Still acutely conscious of the camera, she plays the role of herself, desperately clinging to the fading image of a star. Yet, through this very facade, the profound loneliness and anxiety of a human being standing before the screen slowly seep out. The once-beloved actress still yearns to linger on the screen, and her gestures—oscillating between reality and performance—are at times elegant, and at times precarious. The Interview traces the time of someone refusing to let go of her own image until the very end. But as the filming continues, an inexplicable sense of discomfort gradually builds. Ultimately, what remains at the conclusion is not merely the story of an actress, but our own complex emotions as we gaze upon the face of another.
